365, Day 55: Monochrome Landscapes

365, Day 55

I needed a change of color on this day. I find myself really drawn to the blues in my palette. I do the same thing in a yarn store. Someone looking through my paintings recently said, “Oh, you must really like blue!” And I do…But I don’t think I actually wear or decorate blues as much as they appear in my painting. It’s interesting that I am drawn to it with the paint.

Today, I decided to just play with red. And a little blue to help make the contrasts at the end.
