365, Day 72: Impressions

365, Day 72

It’s funny what people notice. I went with friends to the St. Louis Botanical Gardens Wednesday to enjoy the final Whitaker Music Festival performance of 2015. It was an evening of friendship, solidarity, new beginnings accompanied by music, dance, and some really tasty zucchini baked goods….

What I remembered after we left, aside from the friendship, solidarity, dance and food was a part of the Japanese Lantern Festival: the peach blossoms on the lighted archway near the old gate keepers house.
