365, Day 78

Shadows of the past lie in unlikely corners. Ephemeral, darkly gossamer, the weave around my soul binding, restricting, slowly cutting into my being as I grow around them like a tree growing around a barbed wire fence. Healing is not a linear process and the journey, while illuminating, can also be painful. But I find that I would rather heal than remain held in the silent possession of the shadows from my past…
