365, Day 121: Liminal Space

365, Day 121

I love sunrises and sunsets. Long walks on the beach, puppies, kittens, well, cats and dogs at least…

Where was I? Ah, sunrises and sunsets. There are moments, particularly in sunsets, where the whole world seems hushed as Day and Night slip quietly past one another. ..and it feels like everything just stands still, breath held. Time itself seems mesmerized and pauses, watching. Gentle. Silent. Even in the city. Liminal space between the Daytime and the Nighttime, between waking and dreaming.

Is the nighttime the realm of Dreams…or of Waking?

About Karen

I am a fifty-something anthropology student, an artist, dancer, photographer, healer, mother, grandmother and perennial seeker. I am distracted by shiny things and infused with a sense of wonder at the world around me and people in general. I am a “journey” person who often wishes that I could have a “destination” day at least every now and then…
