365, Day 143: Color and Imagination

365, Day 143

It’s interesting for me when paintings like this happen and I am reminded that, even though I “know” there are certain colors in the landscape it is often true that there are times when the world around me can be transformed. The low-angle sunlight falling on the trees in Autumn can change the landscape. But my own imagination can transform the world around me as well.

Who says trees always have to be green?
