365, Day 153: Expanding Horizons

365, Day 153

Even I can’t help but notice how the paintings over the past few days have outgrown the original 1″ circle that serves as my practice center. I have been tempted, over these last few days, to paint something larger format, something aside from or in addition to my practice painting. It is interesting, the consternation this stirs up.

I don’t have time.

I don’t know what to paint.

I can’t afford the supplies.

I am busy, money it tight, and in this moment, I don’t know what I’d paint. But my life is pretty much always like this. What am I afraid of?
