365, Day 160: Landscapes of the Imagination, Revisited

365, Day 160

I wonder about these landscapes that materialize in front of me. I wonder what it might be like to walk these hills. What the trees smell like. What the birds sound like. Would they be familiar? Would there be spiders…? Poisonous snakes?

I wonder where they come from even as my hand guides their appearance.

And I have no answers.
