365, Day 161: Sea of Change

365, Day 161I love the way fog can spill across a landscape, pooling in low spots, lifting in others to reveal glimpses of solidity and color. There’s mystery in a foggy landscape. And I love that, too.

I do not necessarily embrace mystery in my own life…and right now, there’s a lot of it. A lot of stuff that needs to happen, or that I want to happen (I think). And tons of other stuff that is happening simultaneously. It’s really hard to keep all the plates spinning.

I keep reminding myself that, no matter what happens with all of this, I have people in my life who love me no matter what. I am enough.

About Karen

I am a fifty-something anthropology student, an artist, dancer, photographer, healer, mother, grandmother and perennial seeker. I am distracted by shiny things and infused with a sense of wonder at the world around me and people in general. I am a “journey” person who often wishes that I could have a “destination” day at least every now and then…
