365, Day 184: Blurred Edges

I am still snowed under, so to speak, with finishing school and with life in general, but I felt I needed to try to get back to scanning the paintings and blogging. I AM still painting! But I haven’t posted since late November, so there’s a stack of paintings to process.

It’s funny, coming back to the older ones and trying to pick the threads back up. A lot of water under the bridge but, through it all, I’ve kept up the practice of painting every day. Over 200…how many exactly? I’ve lost count. May 20th will be one year.

I am a fifty-something anthropology student, an artist, dancer, photographer, healer, mother, grandmother and perennial seeker. I am distracted by shiny things and infused with a sense of wonder at the world around me and people in general. I am a “journey” person who often wishes that I could have a “destination” day at least every now and then…
